Requirements
OpenBrief runs media processing locally, with optional cloud AI providers you choose yourself.
- macOS 13, Windows 11, or a current Linux desktop
- Local disk space for imported media and generated transcripts
- An optional API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or OpenRouter
- Optional bundled tools for YouTube and offline transcription
